Wale Buys Entire Stock Of Jordan 3′s at Flight Club NYC
With The Gifted dropping in just over ten days, Wale has been a hot topic in music headlines lately. Just yesterday he was in the news again, for his purchase of the entire stock of Jordan 3s from Flight Club NYC, which was taped and uploaded to his Youtube channel.
The 3s, first designed for and worn by MJ at the 1988 Dunk Contest are undoubtedly a signature sneaker.
The MMG rapper acknowledges this unforgettable sports moment and its personal significance to him in the video, saying:
“Jordan in ’88, when he jumped from that free throw line, iconic…that’s just the moment where everything became trill for MJ. This is my third album. This is when everything is about to get trill for Wale and Wale fans.”
Hopefully Wale can fill those big shoes, The Gifted is in stores June 25th.
