Timbaland To Release ‘King Stays King’ Mixtape Featuring Unreleased Aaliyah Track
Numerous Aaliyah vocals have been released since the R&B singer’s death in 2001. Fans of Baby Girl should expect another unheard track from the Detroit native to arrive later this month as part of Timbaland’s King Stays King mixtape.According to Pitchfork, the 16-track project is expected to drop on Christmas Day (December 25). King Stays King will also feature appearances by Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, and Mila J. The tape will be available via MyMixtapez.com.
In addition, Timbaland is looking to drop his next album, Textbook Timbo, in 2016. His last LP was 2009’s Shock Value II.
