Lil Scrappy Released From Jail
Lil Scrappy may have the record for the quickest “Free (Insert Incarcerated Rapper’s Name” ever.
The reality show rapper was released from jail. He was temporarily put in the bing for allegedly giving a false urine sample for a drug test.
On Twitter, he thanked God and his lawyer.
“I’m free thanks too God my Lord an savior Jesus Christ an the the vessel he used to support me @davis&boseman,” Scrappy tweeted.
The rapper had a previous infraction for drug charges and was required to submit to a test on the spot. His parole officer alleges that he submitted a sample that was cold to the touch.
When another sample was requested, Scrappy allegedly refused.
He turned himself in earlier this week where his mother, Mama Dee, held up a tee shirt saying “Free Scrappy.”
The rapper has another court date on May 16 to answer the charges.
